2011 Dodge Challenger 392: The heart goes pitter patter

Nearly two weeks after the fact, I’m still trying to process the massive product overhaul that Dodge and Chrysler initiated on their 2011 product lineup. Let’s start off with a well-deserved glimpse of the smartly-clad 2011 Dodge Challenger 392. Apparently, there’s only going to be a slim 1,492 made of this roaring V-8 Hemi.

I did a couple laps at Infineon Raceway for a quick tease of the more efficient, more powerful edition of the inspiring Challenger. The 2011 Challenger SRT8 392 cranks 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. Under the hood, Hemi Orange makes its presence known. And with back-to-brass-tacks bravado, half of them are intended to be manual transmission. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for some street savvy time.
